Currently releasing material independently as Insert Records' first solo artist.
Promotion for the album Blind is in it's first stages, and the album has only been exposed on a small scale. Thank you for coming by to check it out.
Currently,
You can donate more than the minimum price ($8)
It will say "let fan name price" and the minimum is $8 but you can donate any amount more. Every dollar goes directly into the artist and thus, the music.
...now back to our regularly scheduled re-program...
After years of hard work, the storyline based album BLIND is finally out! I played and produced everything on the album, which has 13 chapters (songs) that are designed to allow you to "kick back and rock out". When buying the album you can donate as much as you want, but the minimum required amount is 12 bucks, so please take note of that even though it says "name your price". You can preview most of the album here but I left a few songs off the player so you could be surprised with more after getting the whole thing. What fun is getting an album if you've already heard the whole thing? If you don't have a paypal account, you can send any normally acceptable payment to the record label address I have listed below.
Musically it is a reaction to all I have seen in the different scenes I've experienced. From, the live rock & roll scene, to the ethnic flavored work of other countries, to being a bassist and drummer in a funk band, a drummer/singer in a metal band, and a freestyle guitarist playing in the electronic DJ scene over house music ... I have seen and heard it all. I worked hard on this album to make something that introduces my journey into subtly representing all these different styles and cultures, while also hoping to add a new flavor that's never really been heard.
In feeling overwhelmed by the loud, screaming alternative bands of the 90's and the abundance of hip hop...I put out an album with quieter vocals and more singing styles than rap styles. It's the first public album I'm releasing, but it's the 2nd or 3rd album I've done. It's a careful attempt at mixing many genres, with the hope to contribute to the new sound of the next era in music, without sounding like something too unfamiliar. The acoustic guitar is nothing new, but with an electronic track it's freshened up a bit.
Over the past year, as I've been working on the album, I've handed out sample CD's to random people I meet, and I've been hearing great reactions from people from all over the world!
Getting emails like this helped me keep working through very challenging circumstances and it makes it exciting for me to finally be able to share an album that's so highly anticipated. And thank you to all those who have written to me, and to those of you who are helping to fund the operation with buying the material.
When you buy it, know that your contribution makes a big difference, as I have invested and borrowed thousands of dollars and countless hours making this album (and my first album, which I never released on a grand scale). I can relate to Guns and Roses and their constant desire to re-work the material, but there's comes a point where you just have to let go, move on and release the material, which I have finally done... due to popular demand :)
If you want to contribute a more substantial amount as an angel investor, I have used the "let fan name price" feature, to allow you to donate more than the $8 minimum price. Thank you in advance, you're help will go a long way!
I have had various people invest from 5 to 20 thousand dollars in me and if it weren't for them I wouldn't have been able to make this music. I was also given a place to live and work for a couple years, which also allowed me to make this music. I have also invested about 10-20 grand of my own money and time to make this album. Everyone has helped in so many ways, and everything counts in large amounts. Even just a single album sale.

If you really want the album and you can't afford it, let me know and I'll talk to you about how we can work it out. (I appreciate favors like sharing this link with your email or friends list, etc).
Everyone can easily use the "share" feature on this site to place the songs in any almost any social network, like facebook or myspace. It will give you a code to place the album player anywhere you want!
Put me in your blogs if you want my sound to travel.
When you sign up for my mailing list...I will gladly give you the song "All Over U" that Paul Oakenfold used on his Perfecto Chills Vol. 3, a double disc downtempo compilation made up entirely of major label artists, except for lil ol' me. "All Over U" is not on the album "blind", and it's different than anything I've done. It features an Arabic vocalist and the nylon string guitar. I will also keep other tracks exclusively for my email list subscribers, so if you're into that secret stuff, definitely sign up for that, because I like to have fun with surprises and special treatment for people who are showing interest and loyalty to me as an artist (or as a friend ;)
Send me an email to
misternext@gmail.com with the subject "subscribe", and I will be glad to send you back the free track from the Oakenfold compilation, and also keep you posted on happenings within my musical life in the future.
I am working on building an email list subscription box to place on my web-site, which is also under construction, so eventually I will have a smoother operation, but it takes time when you're doing it all on your own.
THANK YOU FOR LISTENING!
please enjoy
